This year we chose the Danube Delta as a destination for our team building!
Our team has grown with 24 new colleagues over the past year, in our 5 offices in Pitesti, Bucharest and Craiova, so we were looking forward to the opportunity to get to know each other better.
The team building kicked off with a short presentation from our CEO, Viorel Costea, to introduce us to the latest news within the company.
Over the course of the entire weekend we enjoyed local fish & sea food dishes and other specialties prepared by the talented chefs at the Danube Delta Resort.
On the first day we went on a boat trip in the delta area between the Sulina and Chilia river arms, over the lakes and channels between Crisan and Mila 23, with a short stop in the home town of the well known Romanian rower, Ivan Patzaichin.
On the second day we took a trip to Sulina, where we visited one of the three light houses and relaxed at the beach.
Later we visited the natural reservation of Letea forest, a UNESCO designated protected area, and admired the oaks growing near sand dunes – remaining proof of the former sea bottom that was once in that area -, and the wild horses.
On both nights we had fun parties with DJ sets, and on the second night we also enjoyed a live cooking show and live music.
We’d like to thank all of the colleagues that joined us on this wonderful trip and we’re already looking forward to next year’s team building!
