MWC Barcelona 2025 has officially come to an end, and what an incredible experience it was! As always, the event brought together the brightest minds in tech, and we were thrilled to be a part of it.
A week of innovation and networking
From March 3-6, Roweb participated in MWC Barcelona, one of the world’s most important events dedicated to mobile technology and digital innovation. Having attended previous editions, we knew this year would be just as exciting. Representing Roweb at the event were Sorin Tarceatu and Valentin Necsuleu.
We had our own booth in the Romania Pavilion, where we engaged with attendees, showcased our services, and explored new collaboration opportunities. The event was a fantastic platform for networking, product discussions, and learning about future digital trends.

We built meaningful connections and future collaborations
Roweb’s participation in Mobile World Congress 2025 was marked by a series of valuable meetings, idea exchanges, and the identification of new collaboration opportunities. Each day brought new connections and insights into industry trends, whether through discussions in country-specific zones or one-on-one meetings.
Day 1: Activities at the Romania IT Booth
The first day was dedicated to the Romania IT booth, where we were present alongside 21 other companies from cities such as Pitești, Bucharest, and Cluj. It was an excellent opportunity to showcase our solutions and engage with other professionals in the field, strengthening relationships within the Romanian IT ecosystem.
Day 2: Discussions and meetings with MWC participants
The second day was an active one, filled with meetings held within the exhibition halls. We had the chance to interact with participants from various industries, discussing current technology trends and how our solutions can meet market needs.
We also had the opportunity to engage and create collaboration prospects with participants from countries such as Japan, Austria, Switzerland, and Catalonia.
Additionally, we explored innovation areas dedicated to countries like the USA, South Korea, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
Day 3: Meetup and interview for organizers
The third day brought valuable meetings, including our participation in MeetUP Sweden, where we identified a promising potential partnership. We also recorded an interview for the ARIES organizers, sharing our insights on the event.
Day 4: Final day – Meetings at the Roweb booth
The final day was dedicated to meetings at the Roweb booth within the Romania Pavilion. We had the privilege of engaging in interesting discussions with representatives from Fujitsu, Swedish Tech, Deel, Swiss National Teams, Japan Tech, and Catalonia Tech. Conversations about backend development, mobile solutions, and AI-driven innovations opened doors to potential collaborations, which we are excited to explore further.
Additionally, Sorin Tarceatu participated in an important discussion, further strengthening the connections established during the event.
We took part in engaging meetups and AI-powered conversations
Beyond our stand, we also attended several insightful meetups, including:
• GLOBAL Sales Tech Festival 2025 – Focused on sales in the AI era.
• Sport in the Age of AI and Mobile Experiences – Discussing how AI impacts the sports industry.
• Superconnectors Barcelona 2025 – A networking event for startups.
• AI & Product People – A session for product managers passionate about AI.
AI was undoubtedly the central theme of MWC Barcelona 2025, and every conversation seemed to revolve around its growing influence. Many discussions focused on how AI is transforming industries by automating routine tasks and enhancing productivity.
We explored the massive exhibition space
The scale of MWC Barcelona never ceases to amaze us. With eight pavilions filled with exhibitors from around the world, the event was a true melting pot of innovation. We had the chance to explore cutting-edge technologies, witness groundbreaking product launches, and connect with companies pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
Takeaways from sessions and presentations
What we particularly enjoyed and found very useful was the session “Driving Europe’s Digital Future: Leadership in Action“, which brought together CEOs of Europe’s leading mobile operators to discuss the continent’s digital progress and strategies to enhance competitiveness.
The session underscored the necessity for regulatory adjustments, increased investments, and innovative collaborations to secure Europe’s digital future.
Some of the most interesting ideas were:
European Market: Europe has a vast market and engineering expertise but comes with market fragmentation as a hindrance. There’s a need for change and risk-taking to advance technologically.
Role of Telcos: Emphasized the responsibility of telecom companies to connect 300 million customers across Europe, investing over €20 billion annually in various connectivity areas, including 5G and satellites.
AI Innovation: Noted that 75% of investments in large language models (LLMs) are currently outside Europe, indicating a need for the continent to bolster its position in the AI race.
Digital Infrastructure: Advocated for a collaborative approach to building digital infrastructure, emphasizing partnerships to drive Europe’s digital transformation.
Our takeaways
Valentin Necsuleu, Sales Manager & Co-founder of Horeka by Roweb, shared his thoughts on our participation:
“We came to MWC Barcelona to showcase our services across multiple platforms that we have already developed, including CRM, ERP, HR, and others. Our hope is to expand our activity internationally, attract as many participants as possible, and, why not, return home with new clients. Thank you!”
Before the event, our team’s goal was networking and meeting up in person with people who share the same values as us. Meeting and talking in person build stronger connections than meeting online. In this kind of interactions, we also get the chance to present our company’s services and learn who needs custom software. So, if regular networking turns into a business opportunity, even better.
What we love about this event
We are MWC veterans! We love the atmosphere and the opportunities that come with having so many industry experts in one place. Over the years, we’ve attended multiple editions, including MWC Barcelona 2022, MWC Las Vegas 2022, and MWC Barcelona 2023.
Our participation in these global tech events has reinforced the importance of staying engaged in the industry, learning from experts, and expanding our network.
Attending major events like MWC Barcelona allows us to:
• stay connected to the latest industry trends
• understand market needs better
• showcase our expertise on an international stage
• stay ahead by integrating the newest innovations into our solutions
Additionally, in-person interactions give us a sense of community and belonging within the industry.
These events also help us increase Roweb’s visibility, strengthen relationships with existing partners, and attract new clients.
Wrapping up the experience
Now that we are back home, we reflected on a week filled with learning, innovation, and meaningful connections. MWC Barcelona 2025 was a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss industry trends, and strengthen our presence in the global tech community.
We’re grateful for everyone who stopped by our stand, attended meetups with us, and engaged in conversations throughout the event. With that, we say goodbye, Barcelona – until next year! 👋
