From facts to figures, here are the details that marked our year in amazing ways.
Our team has grown and we currently have over 130 people in all of our offices (Bucharest, Pitesti, Craiova, and Galati). Galati is our fresh new office opened.
We successfully wrapped up MWC 2019. MWC19 Barcelona is the greatest mobile event in the world. It links the latest innovations and leading-edge technology from more than 2,400 leading companies. Our team participated to ensure greater visibility for our company in the international arena.
Roweb’s presence was a success due to the mobile expertise in the context of the new 5G technology which promises greater mobility, zero latency, and faster transfer speeds.

In March we were at the IT&C fair here in Bucharest, presenting our offer to future colleagues. Our stand was visited by a lot of people in search of opportunities.
We also participated at LEC Geneva and got new field insights. Some of the ideas we already implemented. We are looking forward to future fairs.
2019 was also the year in which we supported future IT experts in the inter-county programming contest ProCon at the faculty of Automation, Computers, and Electronics at the University of Craiova. The main objective of the competition was to promote the spirit of school performance in the study of the subject of Computer Science in high schools. The competition also addressed the growing need for specialists in the field, their training is important even during the high school cycle. Roweb strongly believes in continuous education and that is the reason we sponsored the event. We enjoyed being able to support the young generation of programmers.
We also attended TechXLR8 2019 in London. The event is part of London Tech Week and it connects innovators, technologies, and solutions to drive business transformation. The event hall at TechXLR8 2019 was filled with technology passionates and we exchanged many ideas.
Like 2018, 2019 brought us a new internship edition. Last year’s edition gathered a total of 269 applicants, from which 55 were selected to participate. Some of them became part of our team. We got to know better a lot of interesting people who share the same passion for programming as we do.
Since we like sailing so much, we participated in the contest Regatta IT, the 2019 edition. Thanks to our great team, we won second place.
In the late summertime, we made a quick stop at Baile Herculane, for the team-building. Everyone got to relax and the team is now stronger because we know each other better.
We also visited Dubai in 2019 by taking part in the Gitex event. It’s a must-attend, world-class event; Here you can see the future of every business and every industry, as it happens.
Since we care about branding we were also present at the global forum for open branding – Rebels and Rulers. We believe that every successful business is built on the foundation of a solid brand and we are interested in the trends, the insights that help us better connect with our public.
We also launched IoT Ready Solutions last year, a new brand for IoT Solutions. The new brand is the answer to the challenges we face today and was built with the desire to create community-related solutions. Microsif Hardware joined Roweb’s project to provide combined project expertise on IoT Solutions. Microsif Hardware is an experienced hardware manufacturer with 25 years of experience in designing microprocessor-controlled products.
We went to IoT Solutions World Congress Barcelona. It’s the place to get inspired with new ideas, solutions, and people. It’s dedicated exclusively to joining IoT providers with industry to help the latter increase productivity via this disruptive technology. We presented our IoT solutions and how they can help solve everyday problems.
2019 was also the year when we participated at GPeC (the most important e-commerce event in CEE). We got to meet a lot of industry peers and discuss more about the commerce field. Here we presented the launch of Searchency.

We were present at job fairs, like this one at the University of Craiova. It was a pleasure talking with students and graduates, willing to get to know us better. We interacted with them and answered all their questions. They also learned from us some industry insights and got some tips on what technologies they should use.
The winter holidays brought us a little bit of joy before heading off into the winter holiday. Here is a little glimpse at our Secret Santa.
