We have just returned from the Swiss IT Forum(s) – a top business & tech event in Switzerland, which we attended as an ATIC member.
And as promised, we share fresh impressions of what the organization, the conference, and the experience meant.
When the organization standards meet Swiss watch precision…
Let’s start by saying that we were pleasantly impressed by everything the organization of the SWISS IT Forum(s) event meant, which made us immediately decide to return to the subsequent editions.
Preparations began before arriving in Geneva by creating an exhibitor profile in the intuitive platform provided by the Swiss organizers. This allowed us to know details about the event, the location, and the other exhibitors who accepted the SWISS IT Forum(s) invitation.
At the same time, we had the opportunity to establish business meetings, one-to-one, with representatives of companies that shared the same principles as us.
On the other hand, we appreciated the precision and promptness of the Romanian & Swiss organizers in everything that meant support and organization.
Roweb team will continue to keep its focus on developing custom Swiss projects
The Swiss market remains one of interest for our team.
However, participating in events such as the SWISS IT Forum(s) and working on projects such as CIM Bank (a notorious Swiss bank – for which we developed an application that allows 360-degree financial operations with increased security) helped us have a clear picture of customers’ needs.
Thus, the efforts of our software development team are channeled towards offering modern solutions that keep up with changes and trends in the industry. Furthermore, Swiss entrepreneurs emphasize the quality of work and keeping business promises – two principles from which we also started defining our strategy.
What pleasantly surprised us from a business point of view was that we received a great perspective. The interaction at the stand, the business meetings, the spontaneous networking in the expo area, and the relaxed one at the party made us realize there is a predisposition to digitalization and an increasingly acute tendency to make tech changes.

Together with Viorel Costea and Razvan Veliscu, Mirel Ionescu founded the Roweb company, known
under the current brand since 2004. Mirel has been the Roweb representative at national and
international events
since the company chose this activity for the first year.
Also, Mirel is the coordinator of the Marketing department and managing partner of the Horeka digital
solution
(dedicated to entrepreneurs in the industry of the same name).

What’s next after the SWISS IT Forum(s)?
We haven’t unpacked from the trip to Switzerland because we’re already preparing for two other events: GPeC and MWC Las Vegas.
The first one takes place in Bucharest and is one of Romania’s most significant eCommerce events.
The second is an event dedicated to Mobile & Connectivity trends and takes place in the country where technology is at its east: the U.S.A.
Also, the list of business, tech & eCommerce events does not end here. After Las Vegas, Roweb representatives will go to Dubai to participate in the Gitex Global 2022 exhibition.
